Partnerships
Silver Culture Journal considers collaborations that fit thoughtful coverage of objects, materials and making. We look for a clear connection to the subject and an arrangement readers can recognise without guesswork.
Possible collaborations
We consider clearly scoped educational collaborations, commissioned creative work, event or exhibition partnerships, and paid placements that are relevant to material culture. Each proposal should name the intended audience, deliverables, timing and any payment, gifting or other exchange. We do not accept arrangements that require a predetermined editorial verdict.
Partner placements
Relevant partner links or placements may appear in designated areas across the site, including recurring placements where the format allows. These placements are labelled as partner material wherever they appear, not only on an initial page. Placement does not mean the editorial team has independently tested or endorsed the linked offering.
Editorial boundaries
Commercial partners do not approve independent editorial conclusions or receive a guarantee of favourable coverage. If a proposed collaboration would blur that boundary, we will decline or reshape it. Send a concise outline through the Contact page using the partnership option; acceptance is not guaranteed.
Things are never just things
An object can be useful, beautiful, awkward, or all three before breakfast. We look at how materials and making acquire meaning in real life.
